9. Just to note: A debutante is a person (young woman) who formally enters society in an event called a debut. I don’t think ‘debutante’ has been used correctly at all in this translation; every single instance should have used ‘debut’ instead.

   Basically, Adelaide is a debutante, and this party is her debut.
