Kaoru giving solid advice, although common sense in our world even if rarely followed as short term gains are in general better than long term plans for business as a plan that effects 2 years is pointless if you out of business in the following year becase you didn’t have enough funds to cover an unforseen loss. Which leads to the more aggressive actions by companies to sell more. But what do I know I’m just a high school senior.

In business, you take a loan(short term) to develop more services and products(long term) to expand your operations. So Kaoru’s advice isn’t that abnormal in ether worlds, but in her world, there aren’t things like bonds or stock for short-term cash flow so it’s more dangerous to invest in your business.
