  9. So I’ll ask the question again. Was Adel’s mother also average, at least in looks, in earlier chapters it was brought up that Adel’s face is probably averaged to be pleasing too look at for almost anyone, and that probably the rest of her body is also averaged in a similar way.

    This might be a little presumpsuous of me, but don’t the people already know the Adel’s father tried to userp the family and thus a child with blond hair like the second mother be suspected to be fake, from what we’ve been told Prissy did not look like Adel or Mabel. Count Bonham at least remebered the color of the child’s hair, then again he wasn’t shown other pictures and told this is Adel now just believe it, but I suspect some sceptisisem when one person was replaced with another especially after a suspected userpation. It’s been probably about 7 years at most, if Adel was around 5 when her mother died, so a passive mental reducation is unlikely, that stuff takes time and entire generatrions, Also isn’t it most likely already known that Adel’s Father and step-mother have been exacuted and that Prissy no longer has any claim to the title as she is not the scussessor, They didn’t annonce it, but they didn’t keep it a sceret either, everyone at court is aware so rumors should be around to confirm a suspision, the gag order is mostly on the goddess aspect. Then again this might just be me having more information than anyone else in the story.

    • Its actually been even less time, Adel’s mother had only been dead for two years before going to school, so its been only 4 – 6 years. With three years where Prissy was the scessor.

    • Even if they know the Barons Daughter is a Fake how many would have seen Adel? Information woudnt have traveled or would be diorted quite easyly in a middle age world. Mebel was seen and her Image just stuck in their minds. Adel on the other Hand was Pretty much unknown to all. I just dont understood why teh Prince dont ask for a acurate description of teh goodness. Then he woudnt be confused sice jzst by her age since he didnt have an emotional Bound to Mebel he would find out that it only could be Adel by her age.

    • Well. Adel existence have been erased by her father in the ascham territory. To the ascham people, Prissy is Adel in the ascham territory. So the daughter wasn’t adored much by the people compared to Mabel. So Adel is pretty much non-existent in the Ascham territory. The reason why the prince was confused is because Adel exist while the people os ascham denied Adel existance. People os ascham misstook Adel for being Mabel.

  21. Some people have answered, some have made wrong guesses.
    1. Adel/Mile looks near identical to her Mother Mabel. Hence why Protect Ascham worked so well on Junou.
    2. Adel was the rightful heir whose Noble Family was married then killed in an usurpation of power. Because of this, Adel’s existence was hidden from public view, and even chased away. Local loyal population of her territory believes the False Heir (Prissy, the step sister who replaced Adel/Mile), to be the daughter of Mabel, the Late Lady Ascham.
    3. The Goddess Reveal to the Royal Family was made to the Princess, who described the features as Silver Hair, and when the Royal Family Summoned the Ascham’s Daughter (Prissy), they recognized it was the wrong person, and so the False Ashams.
    End Result:
    Defenders of Ascham believe the Goddess was Mabel the Late Lady, and her Daughter is Prissy the Dead False Heir.
    Royal Prince Adelbert, knowing the Goddess should be the Daughter of Mabel with silver hair, is summarily confused.

I’m not sure how having the support of the local lords is supposed to play into it being a perfect role for the prince, hence the suggested edit. I could just be confused though. My head does sometimes start to spin when I think about this stuff.

In medieval times the threat of an untaken fort behind a nation’s forces typically stalled their advance rather than actual fortifications blocking their army.

  34. Noooo…I was hoping for a more epic Mile where she reveal her identity and confront the Royal Family. As much as I want the ‘average’ Mile, I want the story moves forward a bit.
