It’s actually a psychological phenomenon. She have been living in a world where getting hurt is super rare. So she actually doesn’t concerned that much about getting hurt. Especially by an arrow.

Well. She will be appearing as a shrine maiden. So she is wearing something nice and beautiful to stand out. Plus, with her hand like that, i dont think she can wear the traditional miko like dress.

What I don’t understand is why no one comment about the Captain’s total lack of reaction towards teleportation/monsters/otherworlders even if it happened in front of his eyes.

Well , I ,in fact , didn’t read the novel , but hey , we are so used to not mind the destruction of common sense on this site ( I mean to say : mile , kaoru ,… ) so I actually just didn’t notice getting someone APPEAR in front of me and TELEPORT me in another world as something a little bit out of “common sense” xD
